Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the challenges of hunger and homelessness. Participating groups spend the week holding a series of educational, service, fundraising, and advocacy events. More than 700 community organizations, churches, high schools, college groups, and others will participate in Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week this year according to Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week's website.
Christian Churches United, partnering with local grass-roots organizations, is offering multiple opportunities for you to serve, give, and learn in the on-going efforts within our community to serve the hungry and houseless during the week of November 10th through 18th. CCU believes in the power of the community in coming alongside the hungry and houseless. There is no question that we are better together!
We want to invite you to join in any of these efforts throughout the week in love and support for our community.
